Family medicine with all its facets
Family medicine is the most cost-effective solution to health problems at the patient level. The family doctor knows the patient best and finds the best, most simple, and quickest solutions in collaboration with the patient. The doctor is familiar with specialists and can guarantee the timeliest and appropriate referrals possible. Your family doctor is your first point of contact for all your health problems.
Home visits
Whether at home or in the practice, you will be cared for by us. Many patients cannot visit the practice or have great difficulty doing—so, we come to you. We bring you your medications and take blood for examinations. Give us a call.
Care of old people's home residents and close cooperation with old people's home management
In addition to home visits, old people's home and nursing home visits are a matter of course. We come to you and work closely with your team and the management at the nursing home. This way, you do not have to give up your "confidant" when you go to the nursing home.
Stroke prevention and counselling
We create a patient-specific risk profile by means of conversation (anamnesis), physical examination, determination and measurement of risk factors, and instrumental measurements. If the risk is high, further examinations are arranged, sometimes with specialists.
Heart attack prophylaxis (incl. exercise ECG)

Clarification of treatment of vascular diseases (incl. blood flow test)

Clarification of metabolic diseases (e.g., diabetes, gout, cholesterol)

More than elsewhere, lifestyle and diet play a role here. We offer periodic discussions and follow-ups according to medical guidelines. We also provide nutritional counselling and exercise coaching.
Clarification and treatment of rheumatological diseases and joint disorders
Joint conditions represent a large proportion of diagnoses that significantly affect quality of life. They are usually not life-threatening but are often painful. We have years of experience; two of our doctors specialise in manual medicine. We treat gently, either manually or with injections, infiltrations, or medication. Through our years of experience, we have developed a network of physiotherapists and osteopaths with whom we consult.
Surgical treatment
Infusion treatments
We have a special infusion room at the medical centre for short infusions between 20 and 30 minutes in duration. Frequent infusions include osteoporosis treatment and iron substitution, but other vitamins can also be administered.
Dispensing of orthoses
We provide bandages, supports, or cuffs for certain joint and back problems or after accidents. In some cases, we can refer you to specialists who can provide you with a custom-made orthosis.
Nutritional counselling
Nutritional counselling is important in several metabolic diseases. Counselling is provided by our medical team, specially trained MPAs, or in collaboration with nutritionists throughout the city and at the cantonal hospital.
Body fat measurement
Body fat measurement is a quick and painless examination. It measures fat mass, muscle mass, and water content. Body fat measurement is a routine examination and if free of charge during our check-up and is an excellent option when losing weight. The examination is also offered without a medical consultation. Patients can receive results by e-mail upon request.
Clarification of allergies
Allergies are common, irritating, and unfortunately on the rise. They affect the intestines, abdomen, respiratory tract, and skin. Diagnosis is often difficult to make. At our centre, we request a variety of different tests for allergies (blood, breath, etc.).

These diseases are very challenging for those affected. Often, they limit the patient’s ability to work and represent a burden for the patient and their environment. Patients are often ashamed of them. For us family doctors, these conditions are a part of everyday life. Please come early and talk to us. We treat minor cases ourselves and can quickly arrange referral to a specialist for more severe cases.

After more than 30 years of experience as family doctors in Zug, we have built a wide network of specialists and hospitals to whom we turn for further clarification and treatment. In a joint discussion, we determine the correct diagnosis and decide together on the specialist or hospital to be referred to.
Intensive cooperation with all institutions (Cantonal Hospital, Andreas Clinic, Adelheid, etc.)
After more than 30 years of cooperation with Kantonsspital, Andreasklinik, Adelheid, Universitätspital Zürich, Schulthessklinik, Luzerner Kantonsspital, Triemlispital, and others, we have built a very large network of professionals and clinics that we can use when needed.
Take over all administrative tasks of the patients
Come to us with all the health problems that are bothering you, including questions about psychological problems, financial problems, health insurance, disability insurance, registering aids, etc. We already have answers to many of your questions or can put you in touch with the right contacts. As a patient of ours, we take care of you as comprehensively as we can.
Dispensing of medications
All medications and vitamins can be procured by us and dispensed to you—all we need is a correct diagnosis. For new prescriptions, you first need to speak with a doctor. For delivery of already prescribed medications, contact us by phone or e-mail. The medication will be ready for you the next day.
Medication monitoring by number of packages consumed
The advantage of dispensing medications at the clinic is that we automatically check whether there are still enough medications at the patient's home, even if the patient themself is unsure. Unfortunately, this happens often. In this way, too frequent dispensing can be prevented, and costs can be saved.
